Coniferous forest.
Sun-dappled mountain slopes
in green and blue.
Dark cloud shadows
scud across an ever-changing
sky-scape, as in a time-lapse video.
A dynamic, colourful, vibrant scene that transforms
season by season,
but always impresses.
..while waiting for the beautiful sunset that never came, I started experimenting with wide angle shots to include the dramatic sky-scape

It is often well worth staying a little longer, not just the sun going down but the afterglow.
The clouds can be very artistic and paint the way so that if you were to put it on canvas with oils, brush or palette-knife.
People would say, oh no, impossible, not on! LOL

I went to Twin peak almost midnight because I didn't have something to do at that night. I just wanted to see the SF cityscape at first but I realized "Oh! I've some scene I didn't take it before". Then I went to this place and take a photo with the full moon light. It's good that I took with moonlight, the sky was blue and clear but the big problem was at that time not had a car go or come to the way that I want. I only wished "please...I need red light red light"
An ever-changing sky-scape over the Crow Stones on Tuesday last week. Perhaps the heather may come more into bloom - but it's a long way to go to check!
One from a few years ago of a walk on the seemingly flat plateau of Edge Hill, but which is actually cut into by winding gutter-like valleys that wind down to the River Cherwell and Banbury. From a series taken mainly for sky-scapes for use in Photoshop's 'Sky Replacement' function.

*[Usually there is a massive-fireworks-display right here - tens of thousands of dollars worth! It's really quite a shame that the annual city-fireworks over the bridge and harbor were cancelled this year due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. I guess they didn't want people congregating on the bridge... Hope next year it will come back!?!]

Nature is so very multi-talented!
Except when skies are a cloudless blue, and even they have such different hues... I have nEVER seen the same sky twice.
Sometimes calm and soothing.
Other times dramatic and ominous.
And what a colour palette eh?

Everglades sunset from last month that was one of the

I prefer, in photography, clouded skies rather than just smooth blue.
You can have calm you and can have more boisterous white clouds, playing with the sea.
