On Friday, Para Sports will have a historic milestone as the Para Nordic and Alpine World Championships will kick-off for the first time-ever under the FIS umbrella and governance.
Oestersund (SWE) will play host to the Nordic events, which include Cross-Country and Biathlon. In total a full week of action awaits the top 125 Nordic para athletes from 18 nations in the northern Swedish town. Oestersund itself is no stranger to hosting top-level events from regular stops on the World Cup tours to World Championships also being held in the region (FIS).
