On Friday, Para Sports will have a historic milestone as the Para Nordic and Alpine World Championships will kick-off for the first time-ever under the FIS umbrella and governance.
Oestersund (SWE) will play host to the Nordic events, which include Cross-Country and Biathlon. In total a full week of action awaits the top 125 Nordic para athletes from 18 nations in the northern Swedish town. Oestersund itself is no stranger to hosting top-level events from regular stops on the World Cup tours to World Championships also being held in the region (FIS).

Here's a shot of ski poles and the backpack I typically carry while hiking or skiing. It's a regular REI daypack, but fits a few camera lens', water, extra layers, and food quite nicely - and is for the most part water and snow resistant. Note the tripod for HDR shots attached!

The indoor real snow slopes at the Mall of the Emirates. Ski when it is 45 C outside. Is the world crazy?
Skiing fast with the camera with only one pole was difficult but worth it for the shots. This photo was taken a little before we blasted completely straight down a red run, cut diagonally across another run and then into another red dead straight, full tuck hitting 60mph. Shit was mad scary but we just trained it in and embraced the Gs.
