Seriously. 450+ yen per skewer. Not bad chicken, but seriously, what a rip! Don't go to the restaurant at the bottom of the "M" building in Shimbashi. One cup of hot tea costs about the same, no refills! Seriously!
As I didn't have a charcoal grill to hand, and it was pissing down with rain outside so I couldn't barbecue them, I had to settle with throwing them under the grill.

My Uncle Richard picked up these cool skewers from Africa. I have several of them and they depict various aspects of life in Northern Africa. I have his detailed and highly enthralling story about collecting these....somewhere around here.....hmmm, I'll have to hunt around for that letter once again.
