Fans of good food will enjoy a trip to Konkuk University’s Lamb Skewer Alley. A 600 meter street not far the Common Ground shopping center, the street, a mini Chinatown with more Chinese characters than Korean on the store fronts, is famous for serving a Chinese delicacy, lamb skewers. Slightly different from the mainland version using lamb rather than mutton, the lamb marinated in spices is generally cooked over charcoal fires and served with a variety of side dishes. For those that are not lamb eaters, then most restaurants will also sell beef skewers too alongside a range of tasty Chinese dishes.
