The upturned wheelbarrow is turquoise and rusty, in front of a dilapidated garage. The camper in the adjoining yard is yellow and shipshape. Such is the range seen in my non-homogenous neighborhood in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I'm trawling for images to do more sustained wax pastel drawings. I love the stuff I find walking down the backside of properties from the alley. April 15, 2015

A big nod to Bruno who took part in the hut building! I do not draw at the moment, I'm feeling more and more rusty, but last Saturday, I sketched the hut building, whose structure can clearly be seen through the bare trees of winter.
Not put nothin up on here for ages. Not done much Graff concentratin on other stuff at the mo so thought i'd put this up.

Hmm bunnies with either tentacles or stinging jellyfish...things that may appear like a bib or a dress.
Idea for a plushie.
As with other birds, once you start looking at them there is more and more to see and so many different types of pelicans. They also feature strongly in mythology and culture - they can represent creatures that accompany those passed away to the other side; they are also very self sacrificial creatures - in times of shortage they can peck at their chests to draw blood and feed their young. Amazing creatures; beautiful too.
