Grabbing some of the single origin Colombia Gran Galope from @palletcoffee on split. Super freshly roasted, I’m excited about this washed coffee from the Tolima region.

Straight it’s very bright, with both an onset and lingering aftertaste of green apple. The acidity is very nice, but it might be a touch too much. The complexity is marvelous though, I clearly get the grapefruit & peanuts notes. Think it gets a bit obscured by how bright it is, but it’s def very good.

In milk, it mellows out some, which helps. The notes come in pretty distinct waves, which is fun. Green apple, then peanuts, then grapefruit, with a lingering tart note. Good stuff. ️
