The Sinclair Building was built in 1915 and is home to Huntington Bank. I love the groovy 60s overhang.

Ruined castle near Noss Head about 4km north of Wick in Scotland. Looking across the North Sea to Scotland's north-east coast. There are a number of deep precipitous inlets called "geos" on this part of the coast and the castle lies between one of these and the sea itself.
Despite the ancient charabangs and carriages and trolleys and trams in the museum, this tiny bit of 80s plastic is one of the most examined exhibits.

Sir Clive Sinclair was the top English boffin ("clever blok - cha - person") of the early 1980s. His company devised the Sinclair ZX81 and ZX Spectrum personal computers, which more or less single-handedly created the British videogames industry and which continue to be much loved by the retro computing community today.
And then he made this, the Sinclair C5 personal electric vehicle (though "souped up battery trike" might be a more accurate description). His reputation never really recovered.
It seems it was the usual problem of an innovator being too far ahead of his time, what with everyone rushing onto the electric vehicle bandwagon now...
