Reports opening for Mission of Burma at the Sinclair in Cambridge, MA on Saturday, January 19th, 2013
I visited a museum, and amongst the Victorian and Edwardian items, were these beauties.
The lack of any highly polished brassware tells me that they may be slightly more modern than the other exhibits.
It is not certain the dating of any version of these seals. This is what has been found. The images beg at least one clean up project to render a good copy. We know at the very least, the family was Sinclair, St. Clair or Sinkler. I think I have some history stashed somewhere. I will look.
A small shop in Toledo, Ohio brought photographer Leni Sinclair to town. She had some of her signature photos and posters for sale, as well as postcards and notecards.
Aaron Lee Tasjan came through town for a show at The Sinclair with Nada Surf.
