In 1985 Sir Clive Sinclair launched the Sinclair C5, an electrically assisted tricycle. He hoped that it would be one of a range of electric vehicles, a vision that never materialised. In 2017 his nephew, Grant Sinclair, revealed plans for an electric tricycle for the 21st century. The 'Iris' features a 250watt electric motor, regenerative braking and aerodynamic bodywork. ... the gas station off Exit 19. I'd really wanted to have a roadside picnic in Kansas... and, one flat tire and one AAA call later, my wish came true. We had lunch right at the edge of this field after the new tire got put on. The gas station was the craziest, coolest one I'd ever seen. There was a cute little Boston terrier running around the place, and in the shop they had an old pump that had been modified to have an aquarium on top. With actual live goldfish. As I was leaving the store, the attendant said, "Say hi to Toto." And that was part of my final decision to name my car "Toto."
