The IU Kokomo School of Nursing and School of Education, in conjunction with Second Harvest, hosted a poverty simulation in which students try to live for in poverty for one month, condensed into an hour for the simulation. Various scenarios are assigned ranging from a single parent of 5 kids to a single person with no job and no home.

A multi disiplinary full scale simulation of an aircraft crash following departure from Dublin Airport involvig, The DAA, Dublin Fire Brigade, Meath Fire Brigade, The Civil Defence, The Air Corps, An Garda Siochana, HSE to name but a few.
This is a simulation I created on the Daltile website to show the floor and wall tiles I will be using for my bathroom remodel. My sink, bathtub, floor trim, general sense of style, etc. will all be dramatically different from what is shown in this photo. My shower will be tiled with the white subway tile, and the floor will be as shown here. Everything is ordered, in fact most of it is taking up space in my hallway right now. The contractor will start work on May 5.
This was an experiment to try to emulate a view camera. I took 6 overlapping frames using a Minolta Rokkor-X 50mm f/1.4 lens, edited them in RAW, saved them as tiffs, and merged them. The merged tiff was 168 MB and provides sufficient detail for a good 20 "x 30" print. Now I just need some nice fall colors.

Day 3 - Mystery Event Level 2. The Level 2 Mystery Event of the 2014 USARPAC Warrior Challenge featured was held at the Medical Simulation Training Center. Events included evaluating a casualty, performing first aid to an extremity, performing first aid in an open abdominal wound and a 9-line MEDEVAC request. The event included an outdoor trauma lane as well as an indoor blood trauma lane. Competitors had to perform tactical medical care in an outdoor environment, as well as treating casualties in an indoor environment with combat sound effects, thus creating a stressful environment.
