My pretty clown jacket

Fabric is 100 cotton with a subtle woven texture. It's underlined with a bamboo/cotton blend.
Simplicity 7252; ©1967; Juniors' and Misses' Dress in Two Lengths: The collarless dress with lined yoke has high round neckline, set-in sleeves and back zipper. Versions one and two have long sleeves with top-stitched sleeve bands. Dress versions one and three are gathered to yoke. Regular length version one has yoke and sleeve bands cut on bias. Versions two and three are above knee-length. Top stitched. Version two has pleated front. Version three has short puff sleeves gathered to buttoned sleeve bands.
My first Simplicity 2451 skirt - made from a skirt I purchased for $1 from the school fete's second-hand clothes stall. I laughed at this photo - my very tall husband held the camera up slightly above his head and this is the result! Mini-me!
Those sleeves looked cuter on the pattern envelope model than on me. For my "real" version I chose the short sleeves.
