Simplicity 1919 - Worked a combination of views A&B but lengthened the sleeve.

Fabric is 100 cotton with a subtle woven texture. It's underlined with a bamboo/cotton blend.

   

Simplicity 7252; ©1967; Juniors' and Misses' Dress in Two Lengths: The collarless dress with lined yoke has high round neckline, set-in sleeves and back zipper. Versions one and two have long sleeves with top-stitched sleeve bands. Dress versions one and three are gathered to yoke. Regular length version one has yoke and sleeve bands cut on bias. Versions two and three are above knee-length. Top stitched. Version two has pleated front. Version three has short puff sleeves gathered to buttoned sleeve bands.

Vintage sewing pattern from 1973.

My first Simplicity 2451 skirt - made from a skirt I purchased for $1 from the school fete's second-hand clothes stall. I laughed at this photo - my very tall husband held the camera up slightly above his head and this is the result! Mini-me!

Those sleeves looked cuter on the pattern envelope model than on me. For my "real" version I chose the short sleeves.

Simplicity 3507 in Anna Maria Horner Good Folks "Small Gathering" and 100% Irish linen.

A sweet little shirtwaist for my sweet little princess. Loving the lace trim on pocket and collar!

Simplicity 7162; ©1975; Clown Costume with drawstring at neck edge has raglan sleeves, back zipper and elastic casings at wrists and ankles forming self ruffles. View 1: has rick-rack, pom-pom trim and contrasting patches. Constrasting detachable neck ruffle trimmed with rick-rack and braid trim. View 2: has rick-rack and button trim. Constrasting detachable neck ruffle trimmed with rick-rack and braid trim. View 3: Self-fabric bow features contrasting sleeves and vest with stand-up collar and button trim. Hat View 3: Braid and button trim with turned down point.

 

In 1974 this was Simplicity 9051.

Juniors' and misses' jiffy mini dress or blouse with skirt in two lengths. The dress V1 or blouse V2 and 3 with cut away armholes has bias roll collar and back zipper. The dress is above knee length. The skirt is gathered at waistline by an elastic casing. Above knee length V2 has patch pockets. Regular length V3 has ribbon sash.

 

Simplicity 3486; ca. early 1960s; Junior and Misses' One-Piece Dress with Two Skirts: Dress has front button closing and small collar. V. 1 has full softly pleated skirt, set-in sleeves with turn-back cuffs, patch pocket and self or purchased belt. V. 2 sleeveless dress has left side zipper, top-stitching and belt carriers. Belt is purchased. Slim skirt has front waistline darts stitched on outside and back vent opening.

Simplicity 9332; ©1971; Young Junior/Teens' and Misses' Scooter Skirt and Tunic - (Tunic Designed for Knit Fabric Only): The top-stitched tunic V. 1 & 2 has low "U" shaped neckline and optional purchased belt. The scooter skirt without waistband has side zipper. V. 1 with optional button trimmed patch pockets and purchased belt has front and back panels concealing pants. V. 2 with tab and buckle trim has patch pocket, front and back skirt sections concealing pants and optional top-stitching.
