Simplicity 7683; ©1968; This Pattern has the New Narrow Shoulder and "Close-to-the-Body-Fit". Young Junior/Teens' and Misses' Dres in Two Lengths: The "tent-type" dress has high round neckline and center front seam with button closing. Avove knee-length V. 1 with long set-in sleeves gathered at armholes has contrasting collar and cuffs. Regular-length V. 2 & 3 are sleeveless. V. 2 has collar. Top-stitched, collarless V. 3 has breast pocket.

Simplicity 8163; ©1969; Maternity Dress and Tunic or Mini-Dress, Bell-Bottom Pants or Shorts in Misses' Sizes: The dress V. 1 and 2 and tunic or mini-dress V. 3, 4 and 5 with back zipper and low round neckline have "let-out" side seams. All except V. 3 are collarless. All except V. 1 are sleeveless. V. 1 with self fabric neck ruffle and ribbon tie ends stitched in side seams has long "set-in" sleeves with elastic wrist casings forming self ruffles. V. 2 has self fabric bows trimmed with buckles. V. 3 with contrasting collar has button trim. V. 4 has scallop trim. V. 5 has purchased belt slipped thru thread carriers above normal waistline. Bell-bottom pants V. 3 and shorts V. 4 and 5 with elastic waistline casings have front stay of jersey or a purchased stretch panel may be used.
I find the fabric suggestions here very interesting: Loud printed cotton paisleys and indiennes were the classic fabrics of choice for wrappers/housecoats in the mid-19th century. The orange dress is very nearly the sort of print one would have seen 80 years earlier.

Shirt laps left over right and can be made with one or two patch pockets. The A-line skirt with optional top-stitching, back zipper and carriers features shaped front pockets forming belt carriers at upper edges. A self fabric contour buttoned belt may be worn thru carriers. V. 1 is regular length. V. 2 is mini length.
