My cousin's daughter requested a satin nightgown. I knew pink with rainbows would be perfect for her. It is backed with soft, not too thick flannel - I got it at Joann's last year. I was a bit tricky doing a satin yoke but I am happy with how it turned out. Apparently it gets worn every night.

Miss Simplicity was produced as an amateur theatrical for the Bank Officers Association at the Tremont Theatre in Boston in 1901. The musical comedy was built around Julian Eltinge (1881–1941) as the ingenue lead.
By the time the New York production was mounted, the show had been rewritten as a vehicle for comedian Frank Daniels (1856–1935) in a role not in the original production. (Eltinge remained in Boston, his role now assumed by a female player.) It toured extensively from September 1901 to February 1902, then played at the Casino Theatre from 10 February to 29 March 1902 for 56 performances before going on tour.

I've found myself thinking about that tie collar, so I figured what the heck? I sort of like the sleeve-cap style of the modeled version, and since this dates from 1980 the fit was much more slim and trim compared to later 80s linebacker shoulders.
(oh and also it was only a quarter.)

JUNIOR MISSES' ONE-PIECE DRESS WITH DETACHABLE COLLAR: The full skirted dress is sleeveless and has a wide, rounded neckline sparked, in View 1, with a lace edged contrasting detachable collar. Ribbon bows accent the ribbon trim on View 2. The neckline of view 3 is outlined with a shaped collar. A bow is tacked at center front of collar.
Pattern pieces are partially cut with Instructions.

Breakwater is a company focused on intelligent logistic solutions for the marine cargo industry. We were approached by the company’s managing director to design their identity and stationery.
Drawing inspiration from the water level indicators painted on the bodies of large cargo ships, we designed a logotype in which the word ‘break’, placed vertically, actually breaks the horizontal waterline. Adhering to the firm, concise aesthetic often associated with ships and cargo, the identity sets out to proclaim that Breakwater is a company that does not compromise when it comes to delivering the best possible service for its clients.

Girls' skirt, bell bottom pants and unlined jacket The bell bottom pants with front zipper and skirt with back zipper have waistband, patch pockets and top stitching trim. The top stitched, unlined jacket with front zipper has band, collar, patch pockets and long set in sleeves.
I made this Simplicity 2892 last year during Top Week, too! The fabric is a cotton lawn purchased last summer from fabric.com. The only variation I added was four rows of shirring to the hem to add some shape.
