This image: Light is at its most powerful the moment it first breaks through the darkness. The mesmerizing shapes and textures of Namibia's dunes come to life as they emerge out of darkness and are touched by the first light of day.
So uncomplicated and full of simplicity and that is what draws me to it. Why can't humans be more like nature?

I stumbled across this image many years ago not far from where I live and liked the simplicity of it, the sky in the image is how it was at the time.
I went back this summer but unfortunately the tree is dead and many more bushes and small trees have grown on the horizon since, putting paid to that.
Im glad I captured this when I did.
