Two generations. For the untrained eye they look alike, but look at the windscreen (straight vs panoramic) or the rear fins (sloping down or up). And yes, I just learnt that...
When leaving the museum L'aventure Michelin I got a shock: I saw a couple of Simca Vedettes! Of course I ran to the road to make a photo, to find out they wanted to park at the museum too. And the line of Vedettes didn't stop... I don't think I'll ever see this many Vedettes again.

SIMCA Regente 1968 de Paulo Pozzi.
Henry Pigozzi fundou a SIMCA em Nanterre-France em 1934 e o primeiro produto foi o modelo Simca 5, idêntico ao FIAT Topolino italiano, sob licença da fábrica de Torino. E o 1º carro novo ocorreu em 1951 com o modelo ¨Aronde¨ (andorinha). Pigozzi compra a Ford francesa e depois em 1958 a Chrysler adquire a parte das ações (15%) do que ainda pertencia a Ford. E passa a distribuir nos EUA = USA os automóveis Simca.
O azul milhonário do complexo turistico vista do 125° andar da torre Burj Khalifa, Dubai, se assemelha a uma maquete arquitetônica.
