Pointing to I know not what.

err Wymeswold perhaps?

Homemade signpost in Little Port Harmon, indicating that Calgary and Ontario are in different directions, and that Seoul is both this way and that.

After restoration and the fitting of a facsimile lantern in 2008. Grid ref: TQ 8043 9118

Practically marked with walking times.

Taken by my father, and scanned from the original slide. At first I thought it was in Switzerland 1968, but I now think it's St Wolfgang, Austria, June 1965

Confirmation, one way of the other, would be appreciated.

Seen at Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland, Oregon, USA on a trip I took in July, 2006. Wow! You can go anywhere from Portland! Best viewed large.

No idea what it signifies.

At TL 3262 3703. Arms 2 and 3 now a single reflective ‘Worboys’ type with upper and lower case lettering. Finial absent.

5.5 km to go until Greystones.

Roadside sign on approach to Tennant Creek

This delightful post was a product of Stanton. It has an annulus finial with the legend ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL. A pre-war postcard shows that it originally had a fourth arm. Photo dates from 2005 and it is at TL 9281 2261.

When this photo was taken in 2003 the post (made by Maldon Iron Works) was undergoing refurbishment. The work was never completed and it was soon replaced by a modern 'traditional' post.

Possibly the most photographed signpost in Ireland

The signpost pointing us in the right direction--towards Kleine Schiedegg.

The multi-use path in the Golden Gate Park Panhandle. Notice how narrow it is, and the defacing of the symbols indicating proper use.
