Recently restored by Didcot Metalworking Sevices on behalf of Oxfordshire CC. New arms had to be cast to replace the old ones that still had the A4009 road number on them. Probably made by Hub Iron Works in the 1930s. Grid ref: SU 7156 7917
An amazing survivor even though one arm is mising. Made by W H Smith of Whitchurch, Salop at around the turn of the C20. Loctated with its back to the River Thames on the A308 (Straight Road) opposite Ouseley Road. Grid ref: SU 9914 7362.
Made by Maldon Iron Works in the 1920s. One or perhaps two of the arms are replacements. The finial is of the unique to Essex semicircular type. This post was just a rusty pillar and finial until fully restored. NGR: TL424965.
