Okay. So the roadside near the waterfall was litterd with trash. One item being this beer can. I decided to go for an image of irony in this photo. It's a melloncolic statement about how ever inch of this planet has been laid seige to by industrial civilization. We must move away from consumption, and towards joyous enjoyment of the natural world.
PS: They even made sure to litter trash beer. I mean, can this crap even be called beer?

In recent years, the independent Broadway cinema has undergone extensive refurbishment programmes "to revitalise the cinema from a single to a four screen facility, to combine the latest in sound, seating and projection with the original exterior and luxurious art deco interior features." Unfortunately, 3D remains out of reach.

The small lake on the center is located a two hundred meters outside of the brick walls that surrounded my work. For many reasons, it has been an obsession of mine for the last two years to photograph it. The first step to get there is jump over the brick walls at work, without to call undesired attention. Once outside of the brick walls, the flat ground delays to absorb water, making it very difficult to walk in it. And usually, there are dogs guarding the houses, barking loud and angrily when someone goes on. A challenging task, but not a impossible one.
You can see this area on a satelitte photo HERE.

"We are the people and we really care
We don’t really look we just like to stare
Unprintable feelings that play on your mind
Get written in innocence pretend we are blind"
Yet another Madness reference, this time to the song, "Sign of the Times."
I believe it has a lot to do with newspapers and an observation of local society and its make-up. I thought it would work here because people are doing wacky things, perfect for a newspaper to cover it and something to remember, or to think of as the sign of the current times - "Man, it sure does get crazier everyday!" Something like that.
This was actually covered by a newspaper - I was the reporter and photographer, partly why this photo actually exists.
