This intresting sign can be found on the northbound side of I 81 in Nedrow, NY. This is the area where the Onondaga Native American Reservation currently sits. This particular sign has been standing there for quite some time. The sign you see now has undergone some changes in the past year or so. The original one said:
"Onondaga Nation * Where Traintors, rapist and murder's rule. "Protected By" Gov George Custer Pataki, N.Y.S. Police, Onon Cty Sheriff's"
As you can see George Custer Pataki has been replaced with Mr. Spitzer's name.
This sign also appears in the book, "Weird New York" by Chris Gethard on page 170. I have thought about emailing them a picture of the new updated sign.
Apparently several somebody's have pissed these people off and they are letting the world know about it. All I can say is good for them..

Bearded head - the story continues. A few days ago I found three plastic heads down a back alley 6 or 7 blocks from downtown. Today I came across one of them again. Now with added message on its forehead this bearded head now belongs to vagrant "Logan" who is using it to ask for money while panhandling downtown. I wonder where the other two heads have gone?

Dot Spot will be located on the Bow River Pathway, near 6 Street SW, beginning in February 2025.
The design is inspired by the snow sled or flying saucer; rooted in childhood memories of tobogganing, the sled is repurposed and rotates in a pavilion.

Cognitive theory (psychology) is the study of how the brain processes data in the formation of beliefs and opinions and hence behavior based on those beliefs and opinions. Examples are such things as voting, financial decisions and social beliefs. Cognitive theory explains how we come to have our opinions and beliefs and why they differ among individuals. “Do not drink the Kool-Aid” , i.e., doing your own research and generally being a bit skeptical of conventional wisdom is the greatest way to combat its influence. (Look it up👌)
Sign on State Street, the main thoroughfare through central Santa Barbara, as it looked on an evening in July 2020.
The City of Santa Barbara banned motor vehicles from many blocks of State Street, allowing restaurants and bars to expand social-distanced, outdoor serving areas onto the sidewalks and into the street. It can't have been easy, but I believe that it was the right decision.

Meanwhile as of today (18 March) I'm one of more than six million people in the San Francisco Bay Area who have been ordered to "shelter in our place" against a risk none of us can see - COVID-19.
