One of many traditional old shop / work shop signs in the villages and small old towns of rural France
I know it's a No Trespassing sign, because this is a common one around here. You certainly can't read it though.
These signs are useful in theory, but nobody follows them. Always stay sharp on the street if you don't want to risk being run over by a bicyclist.

They replaced the old sign several months ago, which Yesco had recently repaired. Why do you suppose they would replace a perfectly good neon sign with a back-lit monstrosity like this...? - I suppose they wanted to modernize the place, and I can't fault them for that. But leave the damn sign alone! - Too late now I guess.

The pedestrian / tourist signs in Mechelen depicted not only the direction to the landmark, but also a historical event associated with it.

This is the sign for the Frisch's Big Boy Mainliner Restaurant, which is located on Wooster Pike in Fairfax, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. Originally opened in 1939, the establishment was originally known as the Mainliner Drive-In, and was Cincinnati's first year-round Drive-In Restaurant, themed and named for a passenger airplane that regularly flew into Lunken Airport in the nearby East End of Cincinnati. The sign was, at one point, painted in a light teal blue color, but this has been changed to red and white to better reflect the color scheme of the rest of the brand and mascot. An even larger sign, which stands over one entrance and exit to the restaurant, dates to a slightly later period, and was not as remarkable, thus I did not capture it. Despite the replacement of the architecturally intriguing original Streamline Moderne-style restaurant building and the later Mid-Century Modern building replaced it with a simple, generic, nondescript Frisch's restaurant building, this 1950s-era neon sign remains, an iconic reminder of the restaurant chain's beginnings and a symbol of the longevity of the establishment.
It's really sad how the Lyon Estates sign (from Back to the Future) has been neglected over the years.
"on this rack, bread from yesterday, 50% off". That's a message I haven't seen in a long time in The Netherlands.

I had a little time to actually go out and try to capture something today...it was a super sunny, blue-skied day. There were signs of Spring everywhere I went and much to my surprise, it is time for the lambs at a local sheep farm on my journey home~cute!

This suit, most often called "Wands" and sometimes called "Rods" or "Staves," represents initiative, ambition, drive and desire. This is the suit of enterprise and risk-taking.
An Ace of this suit in this position symbolizes a pivotal act, or fateful step, that will set loose a chain of events leading toward your desired goal. It refers to a birth or new beginning, the inauguration of an endeavor, and the building of the necessary commitment to see a project or plan through.
