Um, what? Eewww.

It actually took me a minute to figure out what the sign was supposed to say.

The Bald Mountain Lodge - the place to stay and play in Ketchum, Idaho is long gone. Part of it was moved to the Hagerman area several years ago and the rest was torn down. It is full vacant block on Main Street in Ketchum today. The sign is the only thing which remains.

When searching for “Why” a “Don`t Matter” was found

Monday:

Streetside Stories is a literacy and arts education organization that works in schools, but their office is in an industrial-looking building owned by UCSF. The building houses a random assortment of offices. A leather glove company used to occupy the office Streetside now has. This photo is the sign by the entrance.

I went to Streetside on Monday to meet with one of their teaching artists to discuss the blogging/digital photography project I want to do with young students on my upcoming trip to Peru.

one of the nicer welcome signs I've seen; I was there for a little bit last Sat. and Sun.

The oldest restaurant in the North End, Cantina Italiana has been serving great food on Hanover Street since 1931. But the best part may be their classic brightly lit sign, which drips animated wine down into a neon glass. (#40 of 100 in the Boston Signage Project)

"The wind blew it. Why did Mommy try to get it out?"

The sign was also incorrect - it was not very icy.

While I didn't make it to Columbia, MO this trip, I did see the signs. They are serious about school athletics. In Columbia itself, you see tiger paw prints painted quite large in the middle of the roadway. (How come some flickrer hasn't got a shot of that for me to link to here?) And here we are - quite a ways down the road from them, and they have some rather serious signage.

Directional signs in Chinese, Portuguese and English, as seen at Senado Square. (Macau Peninsula, Macau SAR, China)

No i haven't eaten here yet

These signs are useful in theory, but nobody follows them. Always stay sharp on the street if you don't want to risk being run over by a bicyclist.

Okay, this is complicated. Temba is the son of Hillary's sirdar (head sherpa on the expedition where Kanchha was in charge of the money), who was married to either an aunt, niece, or cousin of Ang Lhakpa. He's also an artist; this sign is a small sample of his painting.

The former AIG building against some nice stratus clouds. This is Memorial Drive, looking mostly West. The AIG building is on Allen Parkway.

While we were in the sun room to do the signing the legal marriage papers, Dave played a song, Husband and Wife, that he had written for his own daughters' wedding. Susan and Sam accompanied.
