The Stairs sign that can be seen while standing in front of the elevator. If you are blind, how are you supposed to know where the stairs are?
this sign post is in the town center of sandbach I really like the background lighting in this. silhouetting the sign post
A map of the forthcoming road network. Quite where Mario comes into is anyone's guess (along with "where is his brother?")
Again, not a particularly high quality image (my camera’s being a bit peculiar at the moment and presenting me with a few over-exposed frames!).
BUT, I just HAD to stop and photograph this sign today because it makes me laugh, every time I drive past it. It’s a sign for a local children’s day nursery, the logo of which features this line drawing of an adult playing a ‘ring‘o’roses‘ game (I think) with a child.
The only thing is, it always reminds me of that experience we must have all had, as a rebellious child, of trying to run away from a parent whilst they held on to your hand and tried to smack the back of your legs! (“Come HERE!!”)
Maybe I should see a psychologist about my condition.... I’m laughing out loud NOW!! LOL a lot!!
This is a non-manipulated photo of the Bellingham Herald sign. I don't know what I did to the photo, but I liked how it turned out. It's kind'a groovy, n'est ce pas?
Street signs in the Old City of Jerusalem are usually in 3 languages: Hebrew, Arabic and English. Sometimes, one of the languages (usually Hebrew or Arabic) are crossed off, indicating the continuous tension in the region.
I asked Gina to make me a sign or something so I could find the cabin on Mt Hood. I'd only been there one time before when it was dark and I wasn't driving. She indeed made a sign though I wasn't expecting her to be outside holding it at the end of the driveway. The wind kept knocking it down so Gina had gone out to check on it when she saw me driving down the highway. Such a warm welcome!
I made it! It wasn't snowing on the mountain (yet!) but the drive around Mt Hood was rather treacherous and I was so happy to be here with my friends.
