This rubbish pun is outside one of the most famous pubs in the world, 'Hawes Inn' South Queensferry, right below the railway bridge.
I really like the colourful collection of barriers and confusing signs just across the road from me.
They have had that pathway surface open more often than a meat-eater's bowels.
The different public services don't communicate, and no sooner is it back-filled by the gasmen than along come the telephone engineers.
Above the model shop is this lovely faded example of Wills Gold Flake and other various ads, I would love to see what it looked like in its heyday
Along our morning walk, we saw this hilarious sign on an electrical box. I'm not mocking the dangers of electricity or fooling around with electrical boxes. But this sign was a funny way to warn people.

After Paryshiv we headed to the town of Chernobyl located 15km south of the power plant.
Here we are at the city sign.

I see this street sign outside my flat daily and loved the idea of doing this shot at night, looking up at the sign. From this angle you could be looking at it laid on the floor.

Just rediscovered this hilarious sign outside the Lotus Restaurant in Luxor proudly announcing the Louts Restaurant!!
Everywhere there has been heaps and piles of snow, and I haven't seen the grass or the ground for I don't know how long and as I looked out today, I saw this patch under this bench just outside my kitchen window and I felt the feeling of hope and joy and of course I just had to take a shot :)
Lots of propoganda here, will get a translation up at some point...
Incidentally, if anyone is willing to translate this, that would be most welcome!
On BART. Funny how so many signs are compounds of many signs.
I get to Oakland, and turns out the camera is out of battery charge, and I didn't bring a charger. So, I limited my subjects to signs.
I wished I had brought the R3; then I would have been able to pick up the batteries at the drugstore. But, then, I probably would have forgotten the film.
