Sign for Atlantic Seafood Restaurant and Fish Market, at 117 Main Street in Center Moriches, NY, on Long Island's South Shore.
I just love goofy signs. This place didn't last too long, I guess the
sign was better than the chicken! It's now a Mexican restaurant.
signs, everywhere a sign...
we have a long 3 day weekend here in China...it is the dragon boat festival weekend. It was a dreary rainy day so we went over to the Bund area and decided to go up one of the towers to get a rainy day view...we selected the Pearl Tower...

This sign at the entrance to Marlton Hills was installed this week. It features the original logo from the development's sales brochure in the 1950's. This was one of Evesham's first housing developments.
My youngest daughter is moving next year to a new kindergarten. so I made as a present a sign for the kindergarten using mosaic (so the kindergarten teacher can put it outside as well)
the kindergarten name is "another kindergarten" the letters are in Hebrew.
Installation of a temporary sign on a roundabout in Loughborough.
Why he couldn't have parked his van round the corner? That would have avoided the blockage to pedestrians and avoided the blocked view to vehicles approaching the roundabout.
I guess he "risk compensated" these factors by the hi-viz clothing, vehicle hi-viz stripes & warning lights... but I suspect he was just being lazy.
The LED lightbars were illuminated, but the camera didn't manage to capture that.

The Czech-Moravian Highlands (Ceskomoravska vrchovina), which extend over an area of seven districts, range from the south Bohemian fishponds to the outskirts of the Hana Region.
Everywhere here you can find stones, sweetbrier bushes and fields with potatoes and flax on gently rising and falling hills, which are not very high and which are covered with small low forests.
Due to the fact that this region is one of the best-preserved areas in the country, it is called the green heart of the Czech Republic. This region is a harsh and a beautiful one and is full of change and romance. The unique atmosphere of the scenery has for many years attracted a lot of artists, painters, sculptors, composers and writers.
The region, often known as "Vysocina" (Highlands), is an ideal area for relaxation and recreation.

Heading out of Prague on Friday nights, I usually take D1 highway in the direction to Brno, leaving it at Větrný Jeníkov exit, in the first hills of Vysočina "Highlands" region.
In the second half of August, I felt upcoming autumn in the air: straw bales, fields after harvest, rolling landscape, autumn wind... summer seemed to be over here.

The Crescent Cleaners, once owned by the Sisters of Mercy. The Order owned most every Mercy Hospital in the US at one time. This was the only cleaners they owned. Why this one I don't know.

105 Bypass Road, Kingsgate Greene Shopping Center, Williamsburg, VA
Built and opened in 2001
This building was erected as the offices of Cwmbran Development Corporation, established by the 1949 New Towns Act to administer the development of Cwmbran New Town, wound up in accordance with the Act in 1999. For a few years it was a hotel before becoming a nursing home. I am assuming this sign originally applied to the hotel and has been changed from "open to non residents"; why not just remove it?
The Signwise telephone number Newport 841766 suggests the sign pre-dates the introduction of the 01633 STD prefix in the 1980s/90s.
They’ve been in business since 1930. www.russellsbarbecue.net/ Dad asked to go so that’s where we went for Father’s Day. I totally forgot to take a photo of the BBQ beef sandwich before eating it—yum!
