I always get an uneasy feeling when I see this warning sign. As in the style. It says, no access for unauthorized. It also informs parents that they are responsible for whatever their offspring might be up to at this construction site. The upper sign warns about blasting in the area. And, fun story, I walked right into a blasting here a few years ago. People were quickly leaving the area as I walked in. A woman in a car stopped, got out and said, I don't know how you got here and why, but you better start running, so that is what I did.
the sign witnesses to the age of the original boat launch in Essexville Michigan. Long since it has been abandoned and in disuse, but if the need arises there is additional trailer parking at the abandoned DPW yard.

Another neon sign that I thought wasn't working until I happen to pass by the area and saw something glowing in the distance. So happy that it's still working.

There is a color photo of the face of the building back in my photostream entitled "Brickwork."
The sign at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Launching, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The cemetery was established in 1820, and abandoned in 1860.
Abandoned Bennigan's sign. It looks like this was stuck in the ground near Ann Arbor road at one point and used to guide cars down the side street back to the restaurant.
This Bennigan's in Plymouth, Michigan closed for its final time on March 15th, 2014. This location lasted years after Bennigan's 2008 bankruptcy due to it being a franchise location.
There used to be a Steak & Ale restaurant paired with this Bennigan's. That building was demolished in 2015 or 2016 and its vacant lot can be seen in some of these photos.

Right up the Central and Northern coasts of Queensland, signs like this are very common warnings of the dangers of swimming, more so in the summer months in the warm waters of the tropics. Of course, there are also the other signs warning of crocodiles.
The marine stingers are the commonly fatal sea wasp or box jellyfish as well as the tiny irakandji which is also a jellyfish like creature. Many beaches have stinger nets but as I understand it, these cannot guarantee stingers stay out, especially the tiny irakandjis. Full body suits made of lycra or similar material are also used by swimmers, particularly out of the Great Barrier Reef.
Box jellyfish can inflict terrible wounds and can and are quickly lethal. Not a species to play around with. Irakandjis can also be lethal, especially if the person stung experiences an adverse allergic reaction. Both are extremely painful.
It has been noticed that as waters warm with rising global temperatures, the irakandjis in particular are moving south.
This sign is at one of the beaches in the northern suburbs of Townsville.

Highway sign for the Kode section of Marlton Crossing Shopping Center. The Builder's Square sign had yet to be added in this October 1986 shot. In the distance is the Linpro section of the center still under construction.
