I took this Picture on this day very quickly due to The Signalman shouted out the Window,Lee 6M19 just leaving Helsby do you want him straight in.
I took this picture then ran back to the Shunters Hut and Contacted Shell UK Shunters to be ready to pick M19 of the NO 1 arrival Road.
Bear in mind the train was that long when arriving you have to shout to the Driver STOOOOP with your both hands raised above your head.
When the train comes to a stand in the Platform you must take the Tail Lamp off the Back wagon before setting the train back in to the yard.
Once the Signalman has pulled the ground Signal Off you then again shout loud to the Driver and wave your right arm towards you.This will inform the Driver to set back.(That was the Good old Days)

Digital or Analog Signals
A country can be destroyed or sustained by signals. Targeted signals are aimed horizontally from the ground as well as vertically from the sky.

This post is obviously attached to a traffic signal, for instance, and you can tell that much without ever raising your gaze from the ground. What color is the light right now? Step into the street and find out! If you hear a horn honking or suddenly get run over, you'll know the light is not presently in your favor. Live and learn!

This is the signal conditioner board. I made this PCB by hand since it's really simple. I soldered the components as if they were surface-mount type.

Why does a funicular railway need signals when it consists of two cars connected by a cable? The signals display red/green aspects based on whether the doors of the cars are open/closed. I'm not certain why this is necessary, as I would imagine there is some failsafe to prevent the system from starting when the doors of one car are still open.
Green-red: The doors of one car are closed, presumably those of the left-hand car (with respect to when they pass each other) on the cable.
