On the radiator of an old chain-drive Mack truck, possibly an AC.

For our homework we have to do as many pictures as we can using the sight measuring technique we learnt. This is my first effort in chalk.

Sitting at the cafe next to Pont du Gard, watching the tourist and locals exploring this lovely site.

 

Autumn.. the sight of golden leaves against the clear blue skies with Pont du Gard in the backdrop... life's indeed great!

Best viewed large.

Probably the first sight by Leif Ericsson from Norway in AD1000, where there were berries and grapes of many varities--so he called this place--Vinland.

We were driving towards it as dawn came along

The navigator of the Nautilus sights the sun to determine latitude. Hand-painted scene on the Jules Verne carousel in Lyon.

It all seems a little hazy... I have everything I could ever want, but these material things are not kind, they don’t fill the void... No matter what I have, no matter how much it costs, when the excitement wears off the gap just seems to be wider, longer, darker and deeper... What was so bright in the beginning begins to swallow this soul whole, and drag me deeper in to the endless darkness of despair... The one thing that eludes those who seem to crave it the most is no where in Sight... Out Of Sight...

This is my small cousin who managed to sit still long for me to take this. I rather like the emptiness of the eyes.

An extreme close up shows emotion,expression and is a generally a dramatic shot.
