The golden light of the setting sun

San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore in Milan / northern Italy is a monastery church from the 16th century, which stands out due to its complete decoration with Renaissance frescoes and is therefore also called the "Sistine Chapel of Milan".

The fresco paintings were created between 1523 and 1529 by Bernardino Luini and his disciples.
