Here you can see the planter that runs alongside the house. I want to plant jasmin all along here, I think. I've toyed with different ideas, but it's difficult because there's a lot of shade. The jasmine might not do well here, but nothing really seems to. The greenapple jumped from the hillside on the left to the planter area...sigh. There are also two elephant palm trees which I absolutely hate, but which keep coming back no matter how much I cut them down, so I need to dig them out properly at some point.

It is a beautiful, rainy, windy fall day and the colors are incredible!

The large yard next to the house has a large maple tree with a tire swing, lots of flowers and trees, and room for a vege/flower garden.

I shot my dad from a different angle to try some lighting techniques. I shot this at 55 mm with a 1/100 shutter speed and a f/5.6 aperture.
