Had a great time with my brother and nephew while they were here--Joe and I shot photos while the boys went snowboarding. And Joe put a new modem in my computer so now I can actually download photos! Yay!!

The Double Side Chair by French designer Matali Crasset makes life that much easier. With one easy flip, the chair can be transformed into a small desk. Smart indeed.

One of my favourite poses, with early teenage ambitions of Arnoldesque arms driving me to excessive arm workouts through my adolescent training...to the neglect of my hamstrings, which didn't taste the torments of a Deadlift until I was 21-22 years old. This is evident again here.

These were one piece then I cut in half and welded the 2 in a "U" together. These are the left overs from the engine run stand I made, that used to be a giant satellite frame.

The Roman Theatre was built by Emperor Vespasian, using Roman arch-based technology. At a later stage, King Herod added a few more blocks of seats and enlarged it.

This pleases my eye to see it sideways like this.

Initially thought to be Grey-streaked, but wing length/primary projection too short, rounded head shape, and fairly small yellow-based bill fit Dark-sided better.

The apse at the Eastern end of the church of St Peter & St Paul, Old Felixstowe. Although the church has its origins in medieval times, this end can be attributed to re-modelling in Victorian times. The bricks are arranged in an unusual swirling pattern, possibly to reflect the shape of their original source, which was a redundant Martello tower at nearby Bawdsey.
