This is part of the McCloud Railway tour train in the tiny town of McCloud in far northern California.
Had a great time with my brother and nephew while they were here--Joe and I shot photos while the boys went snowboarding. And Joe put a new modem in my computer so now I can actually download photos! Yay!!
The Double Side Chair by French designer Matali Crasset makes life that much easier. With one easy flip, the chair can be transformed into a small desk. Smart indeed.
One of my favourite poses, with early teenage ambitions of Arnoldesque arms driving me to excessive arm workouts through my adolescent training...to the neglect of my hamstrings, which didn't taste the torments of a Deadlift until I was 21-22 years old. This is evident again here.

Initially thought to be Grey-streaked, but wing length/primary projection too short, rounded head shape, and fairly small yellow-based bill fit Dark-sided better.

The apse at the Eastern end of the church of St Peter & St Paul, Old Felixstowe. Although the church has its origins in medieval times, this end can be attributed to re-modelling in Victorian times. The bricks are arranged in an unusual swirling pattern, possibly to reflect the shape of their original source, which was a redundant Martello tower at nearby Bawdsey.
