Some critters pose for the shutterbugs, others pretend to ignore them

Me playing shutterbug capturing John playing shutterbug. It's so self-referential it might make your head spin.

And hey, look! Bokeh!

I believe this is a chapel at the cemetery. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. :-)

The Pablove Shutterbugs Photography Day Camp teaches children and teens living with cancer "to develop their creative voice through the art of photography". Through this summer program, students learn about photography and composition. While working, with volunteers, they students also learn to express themselves and make new friends. It is an incredible opportunity for kids to have fun and take photographs!

May 21, 2019 – Family.

As I was thinking this evening about what my photo-of-the-day might be, I wanted to find something that said “Fry Family”. So I thought of this book of my Grandfather Fry’s writings – memories, thoughts and poems about life and family. Today, another of his children left our world – my Aunt Libby. With family being so heavily on our minds and in our hearts these past few days, this photo speaks volumes.

Yup, I had to invoke the Cheerios Clause today - advice that "photo-a-day" people take a picture of their cereal in the morning just in case. Since I haven't moved far from my couch in the past few days, I am choosing to use my Cheerios pic today. But just to make it a bit more interesting, I decided to do some fun edits.

I was out taking urban landscape photographs for my flickr and saw this chick taking photos of Mozza on melrose/highland. I stopped and took out my camera and asked if I could take a picture of her.

"can I take a picture of you?"

"yes"

"thanks"

"yep"
