May 21, 2019 – Family.
As I was thinking this evening about what my photo-of-the-day might be, I wanted to find something that said “Fry Family”. So I thought of this book of my Grandfather Fry’s writings – memories, thoughts and poems about life and family. Today, another of his children left our world – my Aunt Libby. With family being so heavily on our minds and in our hearts these past few days, this photo speaks volumes.

This is a scan of a picture I took of my mom circa 1979-80. She was wearing my jacket, my brothers' boots and gloves. Shovelling the snow, even though she didn't drive. She was diagnosed with cancer the summer after this photo was taken.

I gave my mom some more Flickr & Picassa lessons during our stay in Jamestown. I think she's gotten the hang of it, now; so expect many more photos online from her!
Yes, she does have the longest and most heavy-duty camera strap in the world. I have no idea why (or where she even got it).
