"Good evening, shoppers. There is a seniors' special in Aisle 7."
When I bought this a few weeks ago, Randal said out loud what I had been secretly fearing in my heart - that a day-of-the-week pill dispenser is what old people buy. Yup, this is now the only way I can keep track of what day it is - Tuesday: have I had my pills yet today? *sigh* - I'm sure Depends, dinner at 4 p.m., and people ceding their seat to me on the bus is not far behind.
(Seriously, though, I am currently on anti-coagulants for a blood clot I suffered on the flight home from Egypt (yeah, as if going to Egypt in January wasn't exciting enough on its own), and I have to take a different amount of pills most days, so in my defence, this really is the only way I can keep track. At least, that's what I will tell the social services people when they try to cart me away to a long-term care home.)
650 quilts on view at an amazing art show at the Seventh Regiment Armory on Park Avenue. I am not a big fan of folk art but when presented in such a fascinating way one can't help but be inspired, thrilled and educated.

He's only 4 years old and he's already figured out how to use my telephoto lens to take pictures. He snapped several great photos of the flag and of our family.
The best moment was when we were sitting by the water and he said: "Uncle Jesse, give me your camera, quick... I see buildings in the water!"
On my Garage Photoshoot with my photo group called the Ottawa Shutterbugs, I had the chance to photograph this great looking model, some on my Triumph motorcycle.
I was impressed with this photo. Captures a great tourist attraction and the tourists proceeding towards it - Oh the rush!

Bailey doesn't particularly like to play fetch or carry around balls... UNLESS there's another dog around to taunt. In this case she was showing off to the neighborhood black lab, just out of range of the camera. Most dogs like to carry the ball deep in their mouth, but note how she pooches it out to make sure the other dog sees it... LOL.
