Today I worked with RAW files and compared them to the camera original jpgs (I saved each picture as both RAW and JPG). The differences can be subtle or extreme depending on how far you want to take it. The pictures on the left are the adjusted RAW files and the ones on the right are the JPG files.

Too bad that periwinkle shells aren't worth anything. If they were I'd be rich. At least they're fun to look at.

Spotted shell on grass and got down low to shoot - luckily before it rained else I would have had wet knees.
While on Holiday with the family in Shell Island we watched an amazing sunset... who needs photo editing when they're captured just like this!

I go to Souper Salad for lunch and discover that one of our freaky customers, the crazy shoplifting Asian lady, beat me there! She is eating chickpeas and a pile of veggies and three empty, unfilled taco shells and something mysterious i cannot identify. Notice also the flipped-up sunglasses are intact, as they are at all times.
ETA: Later tonight, she appeared at my store. Perhaps she was eating at Souper Salad all day, to get her $6 worth.
Also, when I say she is crazy, I am not exaggerating. She was once banned from our store, because she was doing bad things. And she is known to use the public bathroom with her stall door open because she is claustrophobic. Uh huh.
