I discovered 1 advantage of Pano Stitching, SHARPNESS. We can get close to subject instead of standing few feet back to get larger landscape mode. Even we are using cheapest kit lens.

My first roll with Contax T3
Absolute stealth, compact, quick, sharp and fully automated, all in my shirt pocket, but now, where will i put my cell phone?
Sharp-lobed Hepatica (Hepatica acutiloba, sometimes listed as Anemone acutiloba or Anemone nobilis). I was surprised at how white these flowers are. Closer to home I usually see the other local species of hepatica (Round-lobed Hepatica), which typically has a purple tint to the flowers, among other differences. Much debate on this bird. I finally went with my gut of Sharp-shinned after having another experience with a definite sharpie I am comfortable with the size of this one to be the same as my other sharpie experience.

Panorama of Curiosity images (from part of the large 360° panorama I posted a while ago) showing Mount Sharp. The foreground is relatively unchanged but I removed the background and replaced it with a reasonable-looking color gradient (the the gradient indicating an early evening scene with the sun setting to the right, behind the rim of Gale Crater)- there were too many jagged edges due to the shape of the original panorama. Color variant (foreground).
This turned into quite the nail biter. if the French managed to arrive one turn earlier, rolled one more '6' , or even moved down the road at a quicker pace, they couldv'e driven Porter's group off before the fuse was set. Meanwhile the GA militia was doing a fair job of tying up the rest of Sheheen group, so only the fatigued group under Poytheiss could lend a hand at the bridge. All agreed that this was a real cracker of a game.
Meanwhile I am painting up some French Marines for Poytheiss' next outing.
