In my oppinion the 50mm is the sharpest, but the film lenses have a diffrent feel.
Am I right?
A male sharp shinned hawk visited our woods 2 days in a row last week. I managed 2 quick shots from this perch before he dove into a nearby spruce & out again.
OhioFoothills--today is the deadline for challenge entries.
It was a delight to find this spring ephemeral in bloom. Most of the hepaticas I find in my area are the Round-lobed variety.

No.29 Sharp
Well, there were only three ways of doing this, I think - and I haven't looked to see what else has been uploaded for this theme, so I haven't cheated and copied!!!
'Sharp' as in music; 'sharp' as in pointy and 'sharp' as in sour or acid. So we have.... ta dahhhh..... a lemon!!

Photographed April 19, 2009 in Pasadena, CA at the Walk MS: Greater Los Angeles 2009
Go Team Sharp!
April 29 I participated in the Walk MS: Greater Los Angeles 2009 - a 5K walk around the Rose Bowl. I was supporting my "forever sister-in-law" Sonya (who happens to be my ex's little sis). Sonya has MS and in fact it runs in her family. Her Uncle Jay not only had MS but a very severe case and died as a result of complications from the disease just last year. He was only in his late 40's. I have a second cousin who also has MS and she is in her 90's - so the disease really runs the gamut in how it affects a person's health. I was glad to be there to support Sonya and in remembrance of Jay.
The heat can be a real bitch to people who have MS, so the fact that it was about 98 degrees in Pasadena during the walk was certainly a real hardship to many people. I salute the brave spirit of all the individuals with MS who participated in the Walk MS event. And I will continue to support Sonya in future walks.
"Can MS be cured?
Not yet. There are now FDA-approved medications that have been shown to "modify" or slow down the underlying course of MS. In addition, many therapeutic and technological advances are helping people manage symptoms. Advances in treating and understanding MS are made every year, and progress in research to find a cure is very encouraging." - www.nationalmssociety.org/about-multiple-sclerosis/FAQs-a...

Thirty-two deployed Soldiers assigned to various units graduate from the Army’s Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention Ambassador course at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, March 22, 2023.
Soldiers attended the two-day training session hosted by the 1st Theater Sustainment Command Operational Command Post SHARP office. The voluntary training is designed to provide junior Soldiers with the education and skills necessary to promote culture change within their formations.
Brig. Gen. Maria Juarez, deputy commanding general of the 1st TSC-OCP, emphasized during her speech that the role of a SHARP Ambassador is important because the graduating Soldiers now have the responsibility to be the eyes and ears for the command team.
“Shadow the silence. Stop the violence,” Juarez announced as the new motto for the SHARP ambassador course, voted by the graduating class and attendees.
Macro Mondays. August 3, 2015 ~ Sharp as a tack.
Happy Macro Monday, my friends!
I was entranced again by the bunches of fading flowers brought in from Trader Joe's to cut and arrange as little centerpieces for the tables in the dining room. I don't know what flower this is
but I love the razor-sharp edge of its graceful petals!
