Here is another shot of the statue in the family Sharp cemetery section.
When I was in Switzerland...I had to get me one of these...if I am ever stranded in the desert...I can saw a fish or something.....it does have a mean corkscrew on it....that I have tested....er...a few times.

A very small aperture has been used in this photo to show the difference between a higher one. In this picture there is no depth of field effect(caused by a wide aperture ex: f/4.5), everything looks sharp. Using my camera in AV mode (Aperture Value) to quickly change it, I have also used my tripod, because with a very small aperture you will need to compensate with the shutter speed or ISO. In my case this picture took 8 seconds, therefore making it impossible handheld.
A male sharp shinned hawk visited our woods 2 days in a row last week. I managed 2 quick shots from this perch before he dove into a nearby spruce & out again.

Taken out of the camera, minor tweeks to contrast. No sharpening. Is it almost too sharp?

Civil Air Patrol Volunteers Supporting the Northern Illinois Airshow
Waukegan, IL —
Early Saturday morning, 32 Cadets and 14 Senior members from Civil Air Patrol’s Illinois Wing assembled at Waukeegan Airport to assist with ground operations at the Northern Illinois Airshow. The cadets, along with dozens of ROTC members, helped in a variety of positions from monitoring the flight line, to guarding aircraft, to recruiting new members.
With cool temperatures and overcast skies, the public came out in large numbers to get as close as possible to a wide variety of aircraft. Cadets and visitors alike spent time visiting everything from single engine trainers to WWII fighters and even a Boeing Business Jet. The show started with parachutes delivering the American flag during the national anthem and then proceeded into a series of aerobatic performances, jet flights, and even a jet-powered truck.
With thousands of visitors, the show relies on hundreds of volunteers to make their show so successful.

Civil Air Patrol, the longtime all-volunteer U.S. Air Force auxiliary, is the newest member of the Air Force’s Total Force.
