Actually barely tolerating each other. They seem to be quite aggressive tiny little birds, and almost always chase off all comers.

BEST VIEWED LARGE IF POSSIBLE!

A rare moment captured: two of North America's largest ungulates sharing the same space. Have a great day!!!

Candid capture of a moment in a conversation which opened stories for me....

Two small birds sharing food.

A closeup of new growth at the center of a Sago Palm. These new fronds are only inches long now, but grow quickly to 2 feet or more.

If you like fuzziness, check out the large.

(Thanks to Laura for the title.)

The Man and Dog were walking by as this lady enjoyed the some coffee from a nearby mobile coffee van, The dog went to her and she gave it a treat , taking the opportunity to give the Dog a rub. :)

The Eastern Great Egret caught a prawn, and was fleeing a cormorant who was keen to share. At about this point he realised I was there and didn't want to share with me either :)

With four eaglets in the nest its survival of the fittest. All four eaglets survived and as late July/early August all four could be seen around the nest.

I like how the green from the leaves are reflecting on the Eagles feathers.

brant geese feeding along side juvenile bald eagles...

Little one hunched at supper alone, lone

plate, cold table, unquiet silence. Orphan to lust and selfishness, shunned

despairing, forgotten.

Sad-eyed, someone watches,

speaks to your heart: "You are not alone,

for I am with you always." Then asks,

"Have you anything here to eat?"

Best seen in Large. Thanks.

Hand held, taken on the spot. Insects were approached gently, with care.

I thought I would share this photo taken by my daughter of her beautiful Australian Blue (Red....think Chilli and Bingo)* deaf Australian Cattle Dog Bella getting her present from us on her 7th birthday. Of course the wrapping didn't last long. * Chilli and Bingo appear on the cartoon series "Bluey".

i know better than to feed people food to a pet;

however...since they're not real...

they can have some chips!

really...i don't know better...

since my bunny used to eat bananas...

and strawberries...

and any other fruit or veggie i'd give to him.

these little guys are courtesy of my mother.

they were her company's mascot...

and they would give them out to customers.

Bronze statue of a grandmother and granddaughter called "Sharing" It was commissioned by U.P. For Art and used to sit at the University Place City Hall complex at Windmill Village....it has been relocated to a park futher south and to be honest, it looks very out of place there. This was the best shot I could come up with at the newer location. Perhaps the "powers that be" will rethink this blunder and find a better home for this lovely work of art.

Taken in University Place, Washington, USA.
