They ended up doing a "lady & the tramp" thing. I have a photo of it, but it's pretty crap :P No sun + rain + moving bunnies = crap photos. Boo.

The Eastern Great Egret caught a prawn, and was fleeing a cormorant who was keen to share. At about this point he realised I was there and didn't want to share with me either :)
Baby raccoon tries to take food from its mother's mouth. I don't know what they were eating, they were digging at the edges of the lawn and eating round brown things. The mother has some kind of inflammation in her eye which makes it look red. Salmon Creek, Washington

plate, cold table, unquiet silence. Orphan to lust and selfishness, shunned
despairing, forgotten.
Sad-eyed, someone watches,
speaks to your heart: "You are not alone,
for I am with you always." Then asks,
"Have you anything here to eat?"

Hand held, taken on the spot. Insects were approached gently, with care.
This lovely young woman is the Principal Dancer of the Ballet Folklorico. She had been standing alongside a staff member and another dancer, and they all 'overlapped. '
She suddenly looked up - no wonder....there was a really weird person (me) with a camera lens poking through a spot in the security fence some distance away, tongue hanging out, saying, "por favor....", pointing to the camera! She was due to go on stage, but generously came closer and posed for me, to my delight. A brief moment in time shared across worlds.
A Northern Flicker and Dark-eyed Junco share a feeder at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve, Chilliwack, B.C.
I was actually starting to take a picture of the lady bird when the wasp entered the scene. Wasn't time to recompose as the wasps only stayed for a matter of seconds and moved quickly, so it's a pity that the wasp was cropped out of the shot slightly...

This was shot at Senja, northern Norway Oct.14th 2012. Senja is the second largest island in Norway, and with its huge mountains and fjords it is a photographers dream. This shot shows the popular "Devil's Jaw", the rugged teeth raising up from the seas
