Fallow Deer, Bushy Park, England by Brian Slade

Low light in the sky nearing days end walking back to the vehicle a bobcat popped up onto the trail ahead of us. It was aware of our presence yet continued to stop along the way to scan something to hunt. When things like this happen I call it a gift.

His strength is where I am weak, I am strong in areas he is weak. Together we make a perfect ONE.

Make the most of every moment shared. You never know when there will be no more of those shared moments.

One of the most familiar winter feeder visitors across the continent. Six regional populations, (Oregon, Pink-sided, White-winged, Slate colored, Gray-headed, Red-backed), all share distinctively simple color pattern, with unmarked grayish to blackish head, small pink bill, and flashing white outer tail feathers.

Show a little sweetness, show a little kindness. Lord knows, there ain't enough going around these days. There's nothing wrong with empathy even though some would have us believe otherwise.

snow is startring to fall...

We will embrace it, we live with it, and we share it.

A Monarch and a Ruby-throated hummingbird graced my garden today and occasionally shared the same flower cluster, much to my delight!

Van Morrison - Whenever God Shines His Light

Whenever God shines his light on me

Opens up my eyes so I can see

When I look up in the darkest night

I know everything's going to be alright

In deep confusion, in great despair

When I reach out for him he is there

When I am lonely as I can be

I know that God shines his light on me

Reach out for him, he'll be there

With him your troubles you can share

If you live the life you love

You get the blessing from above

He heals the sick and heals the lame

Says you can do it too in Jesus name

He'll lift you up and turn you around

And put your feet back on higher ground

Reach out for him, he'll be there

With him your troubles you can share

You can use his higher power

In every day and any hour

He heals the sick and heals the lame

Says you can do it too in Jesus name

He'll lift you up and turn you around

And put your feet back on higher ground.

Why did the Canada Geese family cross the road?

Actually they were looking for a quiet spot to rest, closer to the lake before supper.

"What is the most wonderful thing for people like myself who follow the Way of Tea? My answer: the oneness of host and guest created through 'meeting heart to heart' and sharing a bowl of tea."
