On Tuesday 20 October 2015, the SHARE Network and the EU's Committee of the Regions organized a conference titled “Protecting and Welcoming Refugees in Europe: responding to an unprecedented refugee crisis”. The conference was also an occasion to discuss experiences and lessons learnt about resettlement and integration of refugees in Europe during the three years since the SHARE Network was established.

Bighorn sheep come down out of the hills to share a rancher's horses' hay along Quartz Creek near Ohio City, CO in Gunnison County.

On the recommendation of Raj at MIT, I made a point of visiting Stalin K at his organization. Drishti is a unique human rights and development organization that uses media, communications and the arts to strengthen India's social movements and organizations, in order to extend their reach and to increase the participation of marginalized communities. They're working on great projects right now related to community radio and video in both urban and rural contexts, as well as film clubs for college youth. But the LUNCH, man that was the true sense of community participatory behavior. Folks share their food on one huge metal plate, stand around and eat enormous amounts using hands and throwing out polite. It was pretty tasty and fun.
