A stunning interplay of light, glass, and structure in Berlin’s contemporary architectural landscape. The juxtaposition of solid stone steps and transparent facades creates a striking contrast, embodying the essence of urban minimalism and modern design. A reflection of movement, order, and human interaction within the city’s ever-evolving skyline.

A fence shot from last week when my husband and I went to the beach. The sun created such beautiful light and shadows in the wind swept sand.

«[...] huc omnis turba ad ripas effusa ruebat,

matres atque viri defunctaque corpora vita

magnanimum heroum, pueri innuptaeque puellae,

[...]» Verg. Eneide, VI 306-313

I thought this was more interesting in the original colors the Infrared filter gave me.

Further experiments in micro 4/3 and back to an occasional series "Get a Room" all shot with a long vari-focal lens using available light. Hand-held, the focus is a bit soft, but I like the crushed shadow effect.
