Late December 2008: My shadow with that of the Christmas tree, and my mother's shadow partly covering her plate rack on the wall. Late December 2008.

In a cold rainy day, from the window of the place by the sea where we went for dinner.

The rays of sun find their way into the dark bedroom, illuminating the unmade bed.

This heavenly little glade is at the top end of Grove Park in Weston-super-Mare...this is where the woodland and wildlife takes over from the more traditional manicured area and the birdsong is beautiful and squirrels chase around in the undergrowth.

This is another 35mm BW image that I've digitized. Soooo much fun, that! I took this literally at the 'crack of dawn.' You can see to the left that it's still very dim (night, really) but that to the right the sun is rising. Coooool, I think!

Shadows in the woods weave a world of mystery, branches cast long, reaching shapes across the path, while leaves flicker patterns on the ground that shift with every breath of wind. Light and dark dance together, giving the forest a quiet, magical depth.
