this is actually 5 photos put together...they are my daughter's shadow on the white front door tweaked a bit to make this interesting shadow play in rgb
the light of the late afternoon stretches long across the stones, as two shadows meet and hold hands on the steps. the cool blue of the railing above contrasts with the warm browns of the aged stone wall below, creating a moment suspended between day and dusk, movement and stillness. the textures and colors tell a quiet story of connection in an urban landscape, where light finds a way to animate the simplest of moments.

Observed from the summit, here is the shadow of mount Rocciamelone (3.538 meters / 11,603 feet), Italy.
It's pointing to the city of Avigliana/Torino and, with its right coast, it's covering the entire Susa Valley.

Went on a hike up to the Bow Glacier waterfall a few weeks ago. The harsh light of the afternoon made it a little bit difficult to capture the entire waterfall, but I loved the way the bright shafts of sunlight lit up the mists of water as it charged down the sharp rocks of the cliff face.
I was shooting a wedding, and felt something there. I couldn't put my hands on it though. Only after looking at the image a few days later that I saw it, that surreal moment!
