I couldn't decide which I liked best, so I posted both. I like the shadow the bluebird casts on the below shot, but like the details of the cropped flight.

On a wide tree-lined avenue the sun, almost at its zenith, is beating hard! Shadows are short! No wonder, the city is only a few degrees north of the Tropic of Cancer.
I take several scenes including that of a roadmender in red overalls. His color is so vibrant and he looks so relaxed that I ask his permission to photograph him. Just then a young girl walks into the field and notices my presence. Surprised, she hides her face under a newspaper ...

Sur une large avenue bordée d’arbres le soleil, presque au zénith, tape dur ! Les ombres sont courtes ! Pas étonnant, la ville n’est qu’à quelques degrés au nord du tropique du Cancer.
Je prends plusieurs scènes dont celle d’un cantonnier en salopette rouge. Sa couleur est si éclatante et il a l’air si détendu que je lui demande la permission de le photographier. Juste à ce moment-là, une jeune-fille, entre dans le champ et s’aperçoit de ma présence. Surprise, elle dissimule son visage sous un journal…
The Belvedere in Vienna, a Baroque palace and garden (completed in 1723), was build for Prince Eugene of Savoy. These wrought iron gates carry the stylized letters E ("Eugen") and S ("Savoy").
