These thing-a ma-jigs were all over the waterlily pool at Park Seed today. Hadn't ever seen so many in one place. or really ever noticed these particular ones with some color here before.
I had to lighten this picture so much in order to see the dragon fly as it was in so much shade. In doing that I bleached out the water lily. They seemed to particularly like to alight on this dead stem. Wonder what they are up to.

I thought this patio umbrella was beautiful.
Only 50% as effective as a regular umbrella at providing shade, but the shade is dappled!
Got carried away shooting pics of the Oriental Poppy and the Columbines out front - well maybe not carried away, just really busy.

I am surprised to see this shot turn to something like this (No cam settings are in PLAN while i shot), Off course there is very little PP.
