This is a lamp shade I picked up at Goodwill for $1 because it was missing its hardware. I pulled it out of the closet when we realized we needed a shade for our room, attached some crystals and hung with fishing line.

The sun was doing some kinda cool stuff. You could see the whole disc but it wasn't bright at all. It looked a lot like the moon.

My shade garden. It was impossible to grow grass on this side of the lawn, so I gave up and went with the flow. I like it so much better now with shade plants instead of clumps of half-hearted grass. This was taken in spring. before everything had filled out.
