It's hot, hazy and humid here today. Humidex will be in the 40's and there are heat and humidex warnings for the next two days. No A/C at home, but we have lots of tall trees and I've learned to appreciate the shade they provide. On my walk this morning the sun was blasting, so I stopped often in the shade of the trees. One of the red tail hawk babies has left the nest, so although they were too far away to get a decent photo, I could still watch one of the parents swoop in and feed it. The unrelenting grey sky is both the reason and the background for the pink pictures to brighten the day. Not a new path, but a new look at the path from home and garden to the Salvation Army's warm and bright Friendship Group and finally a cosy pub.
