Coleton Fishacre, Kingswear, Devon, UK - Summer '06

128 heads south at 101 St/102 Ave as a route 133 on a summer evening.

Isn't she beautiful? No, I haven't lost my marbles. She is going to be quite useful to me. I have an article on the Deluxe Edition on uses for the Lamp Shade skeletons:

It's hot, hazy and humid here today. Humidex will be in the 40's and there are heat and humidex warnings for the next two days. No A/C at home, but we have lots of tall trees and I've learned to appreciate the shade they provide. On my walk this morning the sun was blasting, so I stopped often in the shade of the trees. One of the red tail hawk babies has left the nest, so although they were too far away to get a decent photo, I could still watch one of the parents swoop in and feed it. Time to go grab a nice cool glass of water with lemon, sit in the shade, and relax for the day. Happy 1st day of summer!

The task...

"Take a new path and notice what you find along the way.

What’s your colour of the day? Go on a short walk – outside, in your house, or in your imagination. Notice the things you see which are a shade of the colour you’ve chosen. "

‐-----------

The unrelenting grey sky is both the reason and the background for the pink pictures to brighten the day. Not a new path, but a new look at the path from home and garden to the Salvation Army's warm and bright Friendship Group and finally a cosy pub.
