I was setting up my Nikkor 200-600mm lens to photograph some trees on Mount Baldy when these people walked by and I could not resist the shot. I think the guy caught me :) which was not surprising as this lens is over 20 in. long. Normally, I do not do street photos at 200mm, but the opportunity just presented it self.

This is one of three "blades" (I guess?) provided. I think that this was still too fine of a chop for hamburger meat, but it didn't turn out too bad. I think the beef would have had a hard time going through the finer grained one and not ending up as paste.

A lot of my magazine work is just ad-hoc stuff to get a result in a very short time frame so I don't usually take that much notice of settings etc - my bad!! :)

Took this in downtown San Francisco at Lori's Diner near Union Square this Christmas 2014. A great place for retro Americana food. I didn't bring my Nikon D300 along was sort of sorry so I used my Samsung antique Galaxy S and got some photos that sort of work.

Kevin Bergen
Lead Guitar/Pedal Steel/Banjo/Mandolin/Vocals Kevin has established a reputation as one of South Australia's most sought after musicians. His versatility provides Heartland with the unique ability to showcase a variety of lead instruments. He has played in a number of bands such as Both Barrels, Buckshot and is a regular participant in The South Australian Council of Country Music Showcase band.
Darryl Eckert
Bass/rhythm/lead guitars, harmonies and vocals, Darryl began his music career in old time bands before developing an interest in country music. He is and experienced guitarist having appeared with such bands as The Premiers.
Vince Wegener
Piano/Rhythm Guitar/Harmony Vocals Vince played in old time dance bands and rock n roll before moving into the Country music scene appearing with Flaming Country and Limestone Country and various backing and recording spots.
Dave Schache
Drums. - Dave also began his musical career playing in old time dance bands which is where he met Kevin and Darryl. He is an accomplished percussionist and drives the beat enthusiastically.
