A beautiful table display that was entered by a community member for a contest for the best table setting.
The last rays of the setting sun break under the cover of cloud, and light up the houses on the other side of The Dip.
A fine sight to a dreary day.
Everyday there is this much beauty and power in front of our eyes, we just have to be there to capture it. In Gwaii Haanas I climbed Mt. Yatza on a 5 day film trip, this was the scene waiting at the top.
Although super grainy (because some little camera elf came and turned my ISO to 2500 in the middle of the night to torture me) I kind of like this.
Lisa set up her birthday dinner in her backyard. Magic light, beautiful company and great food. There are more to come!

Mike proudly shows his camping Zen by setting up his tent in 30 seconds. It took me 5 minutes with help and Krystal's tent took 45 minutes, 2 guys who don't know how to read instructions in Korean, 3 ladies who do and a very helpful fox shouting advice while stealing beef jerky.

On the 16th July 2019 two container ships pass off Hamble on Southampton Water.
The 'Quebec Express' (2006, 52,600DWT) is outbound for Antwerp as the "Hyundai Voyager' (2008, 63,220DWT) heads for Southampton.
With many services operated by Ultra Large Container Ships it was nice to see a couple of older more conventional vessels passing as the sun sets.
While everyone was setting up I was snapping a few photos of the place. Of course, as is human nature, you pick up a camera and point it at someone they either try to hide or they pose. Of course models, and I guess photographers, will always pose. I wanted a candid shot. I guess for a model this would be a candid photo. Unfortuneately, I do not remember the photographer's name. If anyone does, please let me know. Might as well give him credit too.
