I took over this project from 8MovinBros Media as a cinematographer

I recently learned the best way to buy yer quality pornography: bulk packs. The variety contains a surprising representation from around the globe (Belgium's beats out Germany's. FYI).

The set design team needed to have impressive amounts of fake porn videos for a scene in the film so they borrowed a bunch of empty DVD cases, X-acto knifed images from the printed pages to fit inside the clear DVD casing, et voila.

While whiling away the time we made up long meandering tales about Robin (lower left, above). It was agreed that before we'd encourage Robin to consider throwing just a few more pieces of clothing on, her first plan of attack might be to address either the drug or alcohol (or both) problem that has her looking strung out like 40 miles of bad road.

Russian painter, mainly in watercolour, art historian and stage designer. Born in St Petersburg of French and Italian descent, son of Nikolai Benois, architect to the Imperial Palaces in Peterhof. Briefly attended a part-time course in stage design at the Academy of Arts 1887, but otherwise self-taught as an artist. Studied law at the University of St Petersburg 1890-4, and while still a student formed a circle with a number of friends, including Diaghilev, Somov and Bakst, for the purpose of studying art. This later developed into the World of Art (Mir Iskusstva), which held exhibitions and published a journal of the same name, 1898-1904. Travelled widely in Europe and was influenced by the art of the eighteenth century. Became very active and influential as a stage designer, including sets and costumes for Le Pavillon d'Armide 1907 and (for Diaghilev) Petrushka 1911 and Le Rossignol 1914. Edited the periodical Khudozhestvennye sokrovishcha Rossii (Art Treasures of Russia) 1901-3, and wrote several books on art and volumes of memoirs. Curator of Painting at the Hermitage 1918-25, then moved in 1926 to Paris, where he continued to paint and design for the theatre. Died in Paris.

Working [practicing] on creating miniature sets/buildings for a sci-fi film I have in mind; using my new SLA 3D Printer.

This custom rig was made for the centre piece for UK grime artist Skepta. It had CCTV's added to it and was the stage center piece for Skepta's Glastonbury Pyramid stage performance.

The structure was fabricated, welded and painted in house by the Rebel team. Here it is on stage www.instagram.com/p/BHCfVatj0P5/?taken-by=timmsy www.rebelmicstands.com

This editorial was so much fun to shoot! We built the set from scratch and had a bad weather on the day, but it worked out :)

Headed out to the timber yard today with Krista and Greg to do some preparation for the build for the play. Laminating seven 4m long pine boards together as the basis for the sculpture that plays an integral part in the production.

These are just a few of the piles of wood that caught my eye.

UPDATED: This managed to hit #8 in explore. Funny old world. :-}
