The brown bottle, and the bottom of the twine wrapped botlle, were made by covering them in tape (the beige kind that's kinds of paperish) and applying shoe polish.
(And the smaller wooden bottles the kids painted.)

In my mind, my collection of perfume bottles and vintage silhouettes play homage to the French budoirs of the late 1800's.
This was a student of mine that has gone on to become a camera operator in television. We were building a set for a show about old school video game consoles. Hamming it up as we futzed with a video feed.
